Chester, my darling American Bulldog, RIP Baby Boy. You were such a good dog all your life, to be robbed of you so soon is unbearable, but you're free from pain now.Chester started suffering from breathlessness two weeks ago and has been in and out of hospital since. It emerged he had a massive tumour wrapped around his heart and this was forcing fluid into his lungs causing him breathing difficulties. Both us, and the staff at Chestergates Animal Hospital tried everything to save him but today we decided he should suffer no more. Sadly missed by Mammy, Daddy, Christian, Bunty, Sooty & Felix. Watch over us, we'll never forget you, love you loads Chezzer xxx

I miss you sooo much Chester, its hard to believe just one year ago today was the day we found out you were poorly, if i could rewind the time to have you back here i would but i couldnt see you suffer again. Every minute of the next couple of weeks i'll be going over what happened. Tonight we took you to the vets and they kept you in, they were going to give you oxygen to help you breathe, that was the first sign something was very wrong. After that it became an endless round of trips to Chester with you, all that time i had faith they could make you better but i could see the change in my big strong bully, you were fading before our eyes, how did this happen to you? You were so fit and healthy, i'll never understand it. I've lost a lot since i lost you but you're what hurts the most, if i could only have you back everything else would be ok, i love u Chezzle xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
